you've had a crappy life thus far and you're sent to a teen orphanage. sounds like hell right? sounds like just another foster home situation. but then you get there and after a while, you come to realize something about the other orphans.

everyone is taking to a new identity, a new role in life they've always wanted. it's a mad rush for pleasure & fame- drugs, sex, fashion, music, art and ultimately happiness within a new town, which is like a new country or even a new world. think about it, in a town where no one knows who you are except for the fact that you're unwanted anywhere else. what are you going to do different?

aside from that, what else do you have in common with these kids? you want to be anybody else but yourself. there's a need to be accepted and what better way than to become a celebrity? or an author, a rock star, a rebel, or maybe you simply want to become a loner, isolated from people who have never brought you any salvation or happiness; only pain.

it's all glitter and flash on the outside, but it's hollow and desperate within. don't they realize that they may be more happier if they took this advise;

be yourself, everyone else is taken !

maybe they have forgotten who you really are, or perhaps you've never known who you were in the first place. . . which is why this is the chance to figure out;

life isn't about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself !
